About Dharmasthala Temple
Dharmasthala is famous for Shri Manjunatha Temple which located in the banks of river Nethravathi . It is one of famous temple in Dakshina Kannada(South Canara) district. Dakshina kannada is one for the coastal district of Karnataka State. Temple opens 6:30 am to 9 pm and in-between it will close for devotees for some time to perform some poojas. Generally we can visit the temple any time. Temple providing free meals for devotees and it will available in day time between 11 to 4 pm. Here we can see Shri Manjunatha Swamy, Shri Ammanavaru, Ganapathy Swamy, and Annappa Swamy.
Laksha Deepotsava, Deepavali, Navarathri, Annual Utsav, Shivarathri, Vinayak Chaturthi and Patthanaje’s are famous festivals at temple. Usually Temple will be more crowded in weekends, Mondays and festival days. For Darshana we have to stand in long queues and temple arranged for special darshana in the cost of 200 INR.
